About Artist

Commission me to paint.

Vincent Alexander Gabor is a Hungarian painter working across acrylic and oil. Born in Budapest, his practice explores the interplay of light, texture and emotion through layered, patient applications of paint.Trained in the classical European tradition and shaped by years of study between Budapest, Vienna and Paris, Gabor's canvases move between figuration and abstraction. Faces emerge from fields of colour; landscapes dissolve into gesture. Each work is built up slowly, sometimes over months, in translucent veils that hold the memory of every mark beneath them.Drawing from the natural world, literature and quiet human moments, his paintings invite the viewer to slow down — to notice the weight of a shadow, the warmth of an ochre, the stillness inside a crowded composition.Gabor lives and works in Budapest, with upcoming exhibitions across Ireland, the United Kingdom and France throughout 2026 and 2027.
